Toby Emanuel is currently an M.D. candidate at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a Master of Public Health, Health Management candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
His primary area of focus is in healthcare venture capital and entrepreneurship in digital health and medical devices. He is interested in the intersection of clinical medicine and research, innovation and invention, and investing. During medical school, Toby was awarded the Ruth Sauber Medical Scholarship to spend a year studying surgical site infections on prosthetic implant materials. Prior to medical school, Toby spent one year as a fellow at the National Institutes of Health in the National Human Genome Research Institute managing the clinical coordination of a large-scale genome sequencing project evaluating the role and utility of genome sequencing in clinical practice. Toby earned a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Biology.Back To Team
