Sonal Purohit 

Yale School of Management

Sonal Purohit is a first-year MBA student at Yale School of Management. Sonal graduated with a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health. At Bloomberg, she was the Co-President of the Digital Health Society and conducted research with Dr. Alain Labrique and Dr. Smisha Agarwal at Center for Digital Health Innovation. Prior to graduate school, Sonal was a management consultant for seven and half years, most recently with Deloitte Consulting. She served healthcare provider and payer clients. Her area of expertise was operationalizing digital health to increase provider utilization and consumer adoption. She was a fellow at RockHealth.org creating a publication on equitable investments in the digital health space. During the summer of 2022, she was a health policy intern at McDermott Plus Consulting covering congressional hearings and writing healthcare policy memos. Sonal obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
