Sofia Noori

Sofia is a current resident physician in the Yale Department of Psychiatry.

Prior to psychiatry residency, Sofia worked at multiple start-ups including Lyra Health and wrote Health 2.0’s quarterly digital health trend and funding reports. She co-founded an admissions consulting firm during her first year of medical school and a digital health venture during graduate school.

Sofia was also part of the PRIME program at UCSF School of Medicine, a dual-degree program that trains future physician leaders to transform care for underserved populations. She is interested in entrepreneurship, digital mental health and the potential for technology to improve health equity. Sofia now advises early-stage ventures at Yale University, leads the psychiatry and technology group at Yale Psychiatry and is an organizer for HackMentalHealth Yale.

Sofia earned a B.A. with honors in psychology and biology from UC Berkeley, an M.P.H in health policy and management from UC Berkeley, and an M.D. from UCSF School of Medicine.
