Sam is a second year MBA/MPH student at University of California, Berkeley.
Before going to grad school, he was the co-founder and CEO of Kinometrix, a clinical decision support platform for nurses and frontline clinical staff to prevent harmful hospital acquired conditions in acute care patients. In his time at the Berkeley Haas School of Business, Sam has stood out for his passion for healthcare and entrepreneurship. He was part of a Venture Capital Investment Competition team that won the Berkeley school-wide competition, the Silicon Valley Regional competition, and placed in the top 6 in the Global competition. He also was awarded a Trione Fellowship by the Haas School of Business for his dedication to entrepreneurship and demonstrated academic accomplishment. Sam’s most recent position was as a healthcare-focused Entrepreneur-in-Training with Menlo Labs, the startup studio inside of Menlo Ventures. Sam holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Miami (FL), where he majored in Athletic Training and did clinical rotations with the Hurricanes football, baseball, and basketball teams.Back To Team
