Monique Sager

Monique is a dual-degree MD/MBA candidate at The Wharton School of Business in the Healthcare Management Program, and The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Monique is a dual-degree MD/MBA candidate at The Wharton School of Business in the Healthcare Management Program, and The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Monique began her career at Flatiron Health, where she was an Account Manager and assisted physicians with regulatory compliance. Upon deciding to pursue clinical medicine, she matriculated to The Perelman School of Medicine. During medical school, she worked at the Penn Center for Digital Health and led the healthcare technology and entrepreneurship student group. While at Wharton, she co-founded Wharton Femtech, the school’s first group dedicated to companies and investments in the women’s health space. She currently works for an early stage menopause startup assisting with clinical advisory and product strategy. Monique is passionate about women’s mental health, and plans to pursue residency training in psychiatry. She volunteers as a director of the Philadelphia Human Rights Clinic, where she helps facilitate medical and psychiatric evaluations for asylum seekers.  Monique graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Science, Technology and Society in 2015.
