Margaret is a first year MBA student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she is focusing her studies on finance, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. She is passionate about the consumerization of healthcare and investing in emerging healthcare technologies.
Prior to Booth, Margaret worked at 7wire Ventures, an early stage, healthcare venture fund. She continues to intern at 7wire during the academic year. Before 7wire, Margaret worked at Oxeon Partners, an incubator, venture capital and advisory firm focusing on early-stage healthcare companies. In this role, she led human capital projects with early stage healthcare companies focused on chronic disease management, medication adherence, genomics, diagnostics, and behavioral health. Margaret joined Oxeon after several years as a clinical transformation consultant with Huron’s healthcare practice.
At Huron, Margaret helped some of the nation’s leading academic medical centers adapt to changes in the industry through performance improvement initiatives resulting in increased interdisciplinary collaboration, improved patient care quality, increased reimbursement, and decreased patient length of stay. Originally from Athens, Georgia, Margaret graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in social medicine and corporate strategy.Back To Team
