Jinal Shah

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and a die-hard Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs fan!

Currently, I am pursuing an MBA and MPP joint degree at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School. I am determined to transform healthcare to unlock access to affordable and quality care for millions of underserved families. I am very passionate about leveraging private-public-NGO partnerships to accelerate solutions to achieve health equity and address social determinants of health.

Over the past two years, I worked as an MBA Investment Associate at 7wireVentures, an early-stage digital health investor, and as a Health Policy Fellow at MassHealth, Massachusetts’s State Medicaid Agency.

Prior to graduate school, I served as the Director of Product Development at CVS Health developing products that transform the way we provide high-quality care to patients with chronic conditions utilizing machine learning, behavioral science, and the strength of our community pharmacists across 10,000 CVS retail locations. Recently, I drove CVS Health’s efforts to combat the Opioid Epidemic by launching a more robust Opioid Management program across the 13 million Medicare Part D patients we manage.

Before joining CVS Health, I was a Strategy Consultant at Accenture in their Customer Insights and Growth Strategy practice. I have helped $1B to $30B clients advance their growth strategy agenda profitably. I have been engaged in a wide variety of client challenges such as helping clients execute a complex $32B merger, developing commercial segmentation models, instilling confidence in shareholders through an improved ROI, enhancing the digital customer experience strategy, and equipping Sales Leaders to negotiate effectively.

I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Accountancy and Finance with a minor in the Hoeft Technology & Management Program.
