Emma McNeil

Emma is a second-year MBA student at Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management, where she is studying healthcare, operations, and strategy.

At Owen, she leads the Board Fellows program, which pairs Owen MBA students with local nonprofits, allowing them serve on their Board of Directors while contributing to their mission. Additionally, she is the VP of Finance for Vanderbilt’s Healthcare Club and is an Admissions Fellow. Emma serves on the Board of Directors of Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee, a nonprofit focused on food security, and the Board of Directors of Leadership Health Care, a Nashville-based professional development organization. Prior to graduate school, Emma worked in data analytics at Cerner, a healthcare IT company. Emma graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S.B.A. in Economics and Supply Chain Management. This past summer, she interned with Humana on their Value-Based Strategies team and will be returning to Humana as a part of their Healthcare Leadership Rotational Program after graduation. Emma is passionate about healthcare innovation and moving toward a system that is more cost effective, transparent, and equitable.
