Corina is a second year MBA student at the Duke Fuqua School of Business, where she is president of the Health Provider Association and a DUH ELP student (Duke University Hospital Executive Leadership Practicum).
She is pursuing a certificate in Healthcare Sector Management and completed her summer internship at Cigna, on the innovation technology team. Prior to matriculation, Corina worked at a variety of startups in the healthcare and technology space, serving in a variety of roles. Most recently, she worked as a Director of Operations and worked on the acquisition of her company to TransUnion, managing the company integration post acquisition. While in school, she works in a fractional capacity as a Chief of Staff to a PE owned startup. Corina is interested in the intersection of healthcare and technology, leveraging new data models and the new frontier of interoperability to increase provider efficiencies and improve health outcomes. Corina graduated from Wake Forest University with honors, with a degree in Economics and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and trying new cuisines, then trying to recreate interesting dishes at home.
