Brad is the Venture Value Creation Director for Intermountain Healthcare, a vertically integrated, value-based provider in Utah, Idaho and Nevada.
Brad is responsible for engaging with internal/external stakeholders, piloting new technologies, and deploying system-wide tools to improve the quality of care and make it more affordable. Prior to joining Intermountain Ventures, Brad worked in Intermountain Healthcare’s Office of Research and he established the infrastructure needed for grant submission, contracting, and billing. Outside of Intermountain Healthcare, Brad also serves as the Chief of Research & Operations for the Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation Research for Operational Readiness (MIRROR) organization and the Scientific Director for the Center for Rehabilitation Sciences Research (CRSR). These programs are based in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Uniformed Services University (USU) and are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Service Members. Brad is instrumental in the operations and he is also as Principal Investigator through the Geneva Foundation. Over the past decade, he has helped personally attain over $130 million in federal grants and he is a Co-Founder of both MIRROR and CRSR. Brad holds two academic appointments as an Associate Professor at USU in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in Orthopaedics the University of Utah. Prior to joining Intermountain and Geneva, Brad worked for Boston Scientific and developed a medical device to remove cancerous masses in the upper gastrointestinal tract. This product, the Captivator EMRTM, is sold globally and he has seven patents from contribution. Brad has a BS Mechanical Engineering from Widener University, MBA and MSF from Boston College, and PhD in Bioengineering from The University of Utah. He is also Project Management Professional certified.Back To Team
