Allison (Randy) Randolph

Randy is a third-year medical student at Meharry Medical College interested in radiology or anesthesiology as possible specialties.

He serves as a curriculum committee representative, an elected member of his graduating class’s executive board. Prior to medical school Randy most recently worked in hospital data analysis on the clinical effectiveness and analytics team at Stanford Children’s Health (SCH). At SCH, he implemented and analyzed various clinical improvement initiatives in partnership with clinicians. He also tracked patient safety and quality data through electronic medical record analysis. Randy has academic research experience with the Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research Group at UCSF where he produced three publications. He integrated an MRI 3D-image automatic segmentation program into the lab’s workflow and developed a novel analysis method. Randy will be attending the Vanderbilt Owen School of Management as part of the Meharry-Vanderbilt MBA-MD program in August 2021. He graduated from Harvard University with a BA concentration in Neurobiology and secondary concentration in Public Health and Health Policy.
