Alex is a 5th year student in the joint MD/MBA program at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
Upon graduation he hopes to pursue an internal medicine residency and ultimately combine primary care practice with innovation in primary care delivery and reimbursement. He is interested in new models of primary care for medically and socially complex patients, designing incentives to improve patient care, and improving end of life care. Prior to his graduate education, he was a consultant at McKinsey and Company, working primarily with healthcare clients. His work included projects to optimize hospital operations, reduce unwarranted clinical variation, develop new reimbursement models for primary care physicians and specialists, and launch pharmaceuticals in developing markets. He has also volunteered with Global Oncology to deliver palliative care training and education in the Republic of Belarus. He holds a B.Sc. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University.Back To Team
