Alex is a second-year MBA candidate at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, where he received the Robert E. Toomey Scholarship in Health Administration.
At Fuqua, Alex is pursuing a certificate in Healthcare Sector Management and a concentration in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and he serves as the President of the Health Provider Association club. Prior to business school, Alex worked as a healthcare strategy consultant for Navigant. There, he led projects in the Payer & Provider practice specializing in provider operations and technology implementation. Alex completed his MBA summer internship with DaVita, where he developed a go-to-market strategy for the company’s post-acute dialysis service. While at Fuqua, Alex served as a fellow for NC IDEA, a nonprofit foundation that provides seed funding to entrepreneurs in North Carolina. On behalf of NC IDEA, he evaluated grant applications for growth-oriented startups across the state in fields from software to medical device/diagnostics. Alex graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Biology. Outside of Duke, Alex enjoys running, cycling, and working on his golf game.Back To Team
