Walter Winslow

Stanford University

Walt is a second-year MBA candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he focuses on healthcare technology and entrepreneurship. Walt is passionate about redesigned care delivery models that lower the cost of care and increase access for those who need it most.

Immediately prior to business school, Walt spent 1.5 years working in Strategy & Operations at Stellar Health working alongside payors and primary care providers to drive improved value-based health outcomes through actionable insights and incentives delivered at the point-of-care. Additionally, Walt spent 2.5 years at McKinsey & Company working on strategy projects across healthcare subsectors (i.e., payor & provider, public sector, private equity, international global public health), including a 6-month rotation with McKinsey’s Center for US Health System Reform focused on value-based programs and implications of the 2020 election cycle. During his MBA internship summer, he worked at 25m Health – a venture studio based in Nashville, TN – helping to develop and build a new incubation in the pediatrics space. Originally from rural North Carolina, Walt graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Health Policy & Management.
