Vinay Raj is a Principal at CVS Health Ventures and works on investments, capital deployment strategy, and fund operations. In addition to direct and limited partner investments, he also covers the firm’s non-traditional investment vehicles including warrants. Before joining CVS, Vinay was a Principal at X, Google’s moonshot factory, leading diligence, capital allocation, and strategic finance partnership. Prior to Google, Vinay has worked on mergers and acquisitions spanning billions in enterprise value across roles managing strategy / M&A at Gap Inc, private equity investing at Riverside, and investment banking at Evercore. Vinay has a M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Economics (Finance and Operations concentrations) from Penn’s Wharton School of Business.
