Victor Agbafe
Victor Agbafe is a JD/MD student at Yale Law School and the University of Michigan Medical School. Outside of the classroom, Victor volunteers for the Haven medical-legal partnership, an organization that helps provide for the medically-related legal needs of the uninsured population in New Haven. Victor was previously an invited member of the 2022 White House Health Equity Clinical Access to Care Roundtable and has engaged in research and writing focused on public health and surgical access.
Prior to starting his dual degree program, Victor volunteered on the Biden Health Policy Committee during the 2020 campaign and wrote op-eds on behalf of the Doctors for Biden organization. Victor also spent time as an operations intern at Mediquire, a former health tech start-up, and was a part-time program coordinator for HealthBegins.
Victor grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina and graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Government, cum laude. In his free time, Victor enjoys traveling, exploring new running pathways, attending music festivals, cooking, and watching his favorite sports teams.
