Sam Cronin

Arkin Digital Health

Sam is Principal and Investment Manager at Arkin Digital Health, part of Arkin Holdings, the largest private healthcare investor in Israel. Prior to joining Arkin, Sam headed the digital health vertical of the UK Israel Tech Hub, performing boutique consulting for diverse healthcare multinationals (e.g. AstraZeneca, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Elsevier, NHS) to identify and define their innovations needs and tech challenges, and find suitable early-stage startup solutions for strategic/clinical/commercial partnerships. Originally from England, Sam holds degrees focused on pharmacology (BSc), biosensing devices (MSc), and biotechnology (PhD) and before moving to Israel worked in corporate finance, conducting financial forensic investigations in the City of London. He is a fellow in medical innovation at UCL (UK), a guest lecturer at several Israeli universities, and has judged and mentored dozens of healthtech startups in several accelerator programmes. He is a decent home cook, a poor but enthusiastic surfer, and remains an aspiring dog owner.
