Russell Horton

Russell is the Medical Director for Clinical Innovation with the Banner Innovation Group. He is a physician by training and is a board-certified pediatrician. After nine years of clinical work and physician leadership he has taken on his new role in clinical innovation with Banner Health. As part of the Innovation Group he helps coordinate clinical pilots, evaluate venture investments, strategic partnerships, and potential internal commercialization opportunities. He represents the voice of the clinician as Banner moves into the future of healthcare. He received his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
