Reece Williams
Reece is a fourth-year medical student at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school he spent time in a product role at renewable energy startup and conducted translational research in oncology and rare diseases. Outside of his clinical and academic duties, Reece focuses on identifying and scaling translational technologies through co-founding the Atlanta chapter of Nucleate, as well as in roles held at both Biolocity, a multi-institutional philanthropic fund housed at Emory and Georgia Tech, and UCSF Innovation Ventures. He also serves as a clinical consultant for Hippocratic AI. Reece plans to pursue a residency in internal medicine and particularly interested in technologies that support health care that is personalized and preventive. In his free time, Reece enjoys listening to live music and spending time outdoors—he has spent summers leading backpacking & mountaineering trips across the U.S., Europe, and Africa. Reece received his B.S.P.H. in Environmental Health Science at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill.
