Nicole Laramee
Nicole is passionate about solving today’s most complex public health challenges and eliminating disparities in health outcomes. She currently serves as Manager of the Care Delivery Services subunit with Blue Cross NC’s Strategy and Diversified Business Group (SDBG), where she oversees strategy co-development and execution as well as partnership/alliance management and advisement functions between Blue Cross NC and Alo Solutions, Blue Cross NC’s joint venture management services organization with Deerfield Management Company helping expand consumer access to affordable, high-quality care via the support and advancement of independent primary care. Prior to her current role, Nicole spent two years supporting business development efforts as a strategic advisor within Blue Cross NC SDBG’s Innovations and New Ventures team, most notably co-leading the strategic development and contract execution of Alo Solutions and it’s subsequent acquisition of Avance Care – laying the foundation for organizational business diversification – and spearheading the procurement of the Made in NC initiative, a sustainable, in-state solution to COVID-19 related N95 global supply chain challenges. Previous experiences include roles at: CCNC, RTI International, HMPRG, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and a global health collaborative where she co-led sustainable business scale-up efforts – gaining the interest of the United Nations Environment Programme. Nicole earned a B.S. in Biology from North Carolina State University and holds an MPH in Global Health Policy and Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
