Miguel Devonish
Miguel is a fourth-year MD/MBA student at Morehouse School of Medicine and the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. During his MBA internship at Humana Inc., he led multiple projects, including a strategic, risk-mitigating, and cost-effective drug testing initiative for associates, a comprehensive cost-saving analysis for the fleet team, as well as process development for fleet-related M&A integrations. During medical school, he worked as a Summer Research Assistant at Moffitt Cancer Center, analyzing the impact of COVID-19 on primary care visits. He also worked with the Grady Health System as a STAR research fellow to develop a clinical protocol for reversing the effects of Direct Oral Anticoagulants in trauma patients. As Chapter Vice President for the American Medical Association at MSM, Miguel played a role in writing and implementing policies aimed at increasing healthcare outcomes for the underserved community. Miguel attended Florida State University, where he studied Physiology, and then earned his Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Morsani College of Medicine at USF.
