Maya Ambady is an MBA/MPH candidate at the University of Michigan with a background spanning healthcare operations, innovation, and strategy. Her interest in healthcare was shaped by helping her parents navigate complex cancer care, and working at a free clinic and EMT throughout college. Maya previously worked at Penn Medicine’s Center for Healthcare Innovation, where she partnered with clinicians to design and implement solutions that brought care to the home, improved access, and provider wellbeing. She later advised life sciences companies and governments at the Albright Stonebridge Group on regulatory and reimbursement strategy. At Michigan, Maya is co-President of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Club, has worked on go-to-market strategy for medical device startups, and founded a healthcare personalization and self-advocacy coaching venture.
Maya is from Boston MA and holds a B.A. in Human Biology from Stanford University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sampling local bakeries and hiking.
