Matt Briggs

Matt is a Director of Healthcare Economics at Somatus, Somatus is the leading provider of value-based kidney care.

In this role, Matt is responsible for guiding stakeholders’ understanding on how the company is performing and where there is opportunity for improvement. Matt partners with various stakeholders to evaluate future growth opportunities through joint venture, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions. Prior to Somatus, he was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on Strategic and Actuarial projects across the healthcare continuum. Matt’s passion is to tackle big problems using quantitative techniques with business strategy in mind. His main interest in healthcare is reducing health care cost trends using the combination of People and Technology. Matt is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and in the pursuit of his Fellowship. Matt has his B.S in Finance with a Mathematics minor from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Matt currently resides in New York City.
