Julian Yao

Julian is a currently a second-year MBA candidate at U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he is focusing his studies on product management and health tech. Most recently, Julian was a Product Manager at Uber Health, where he led the launch of the organization’s first healthcare marketplace product. Prior to Haas, Julian was Chief of Staff and on the founding team of Covera Health, a Series C radiology AI startup backed by Insight Ventures. There, Julian helped launch and scale the company’s Radiology Centers of Excellence product which now covers over 3 million lives nationwide. Julian also recently served as an MBA intern at 7wireVentures, where he conducted diligence on early-stage digital healthcare startups. Julian graduated from Rice University with a degree in Economics and Political Science, and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. Outside of school, Julian enjoys playing music (guitar and singing), golf, and is a huge aviation geek.
