Partnering with our visionary founders is incredibly rewarding. I am constantly energized by their first-hand passion for healthcare, and it is an honor to serve as a partner and advisor when navigating obstacles and seeking to enhance a healthcare system that impacts millions of lives.

Jon (“JG”) is a Senior Associate at Flare Capital Partners. Jon is a Board observer at Cohere Health and Axuall, and supports Flare Capital’s investments in Cayaba Care, Somatus, and ClearData. He was previously a Flare Capital Scholar, where he co-authored a series on the future of digital cancer care (Part 1 and Part 2).

Prior to joining Flare Capital, Jon advised hospitals and health systems on strategic planning, corporate development, and clinical service line improvement. While getting his MBA at Kellogg, Jon co-developed the graduate school’s digital health curriculum (2022-23) and brings experience in investing through his prior roles at OCA Ventures and Wittington Ventures.

While at Chartis, Jon advised health systems on enterprise strategy, service line planning, digital strategy, oncology, and M&A. He has been active with clients nationwide including Beth Israel Lahey Health, Allina Health, Northwestern Medicine, Virginia Mason, Children’s Health Dallas, Wellspan Health, Johns Hopkins, and UT Southwestern. Jon’s experience in consulting also includes his time with PwC/Strategy&’s private equity group where he advised and supported large healthcare and private equity organizations with their operational and integration management needs.

Jon currently serves as a startup coach for Children’s National Hospital. He previously served as a board member for the Lurie Children’s Research Fund in downtown Chicago, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and Comer Children Hospital’s Pediatric Cancer Board.

Jon earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management as a Harry Brown scholar. He received a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Penn State University.

For fun, he likes to play soccer, go on hikes, snowboard, and explore the outdoors.
