Jen Barrera

Jen Barrera serves as Senior Vice President, Strategic Implementation for Children’s Health. In her role, she is responsible for the execution of strategic capital initiatives that advance the organization’s vision and mission of making life better for children. 

Prior to joining Children’s Health in 2022, Jen served as the Vice President of Strategic Implementation & Academic Program Development at Ascension Texas, one of the largest private health care systems in the United States. She also served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Services at Lone Star Circle of Care, a federally qualified health center providing primary and behavioral health care to medically underserved adults and children. 

Jen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Louisiana State University and her Master of Arts in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
