James Kirpatrick

James Kirkpatrick is an Associate with Cleveland Clinic Ventures, a part of the larger Innovations arm of Cleveland Clinic. In his role, James supports the company formation and initial investment activities of Cleveland Clinic developed technologies while they are in the early stages of becoming spun-out, venture-backed, entities. He also supports the dealflow and diligence efforts of external strategic investment opportunities for the health system across the lifesciences, medical device, and digital health domains. In previous roles, James has worked as a Financial Analyst for Cleveland Clinic’s Chief of Staff Office and Revenue Cycle Management Strategic Initiatives team. He also held short-term positions with NHS England and the United Nations leading economic research and policy projects as a graduate student living in London.

James holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a Master’s degree in in Healthcare Management from Case Western Reserve University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
