Jake Rubin

Jake spent the first 5+ years of his career at healthcare technology companies of varying sizes in multiple functional roles. At SHYFT Analytics, Jake was the first lead consultant to span the business and product sides of the organization – managing engineering team developing several products while simultaneously leading a custom analytics and reporting teams supporting multiple clients. After SHYFT’s acquisition by Medidata, Jake joined Medidata’s Data Science/AI division, Medidata AI (formerly Acorn AI). There, he was responsible for building and managing Medidata Link, a technology product which optimizes clinical trial data by linking it with real world data to give biotechs a more complete understanding of their patients. In this role, Jake led teams responsible for product strategy, US and global market research for product development, coordinating go-to-market efforts, and the end-to-end commercial process.

Jake is a Boston native and a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he received a BS and Master’s degree in Neuroscience. Jake is currently a first-year MBA student at the Harvard Business School and an active member of the Nucleate leadership team.
