Grace Lesser
Grace is a social entrepreneur with over a decade of healthcare experience across the private and public sectors. She is currently training as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwife at the Yale School of Nursing and holds an MBA and MPH from the University of California – Berkeley. She is passionate about reproductive health, care for care providers, and how social determinants impact health outcomes.
Prior to pursuing a clinical degree at Yale, Grace advised public sector leaders on COVID-19 response efforts across the U.S. She also scaled and managed partner growth at Honor and funded healthcare startups as a venture philanthropist. Grace spent the early part of her career in East Africa, where she focused on strengthening the Rwandan national health system and growing a network of maternity hospitals in Kenya.
In her free time, Grace is dedicated to building local community, raising two young children, and maintaining a balanced yoga practice.
