Ganesh Persad, MSBI, FHIMSS, CHCIO, CDH-E, FACHDM, is a nationally recognized healthcare technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading digital transformation in complex health systems. He currently serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Cottage Health, where he leads enterprise IT strategy and oversees clinical systems, digital platforms, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and major technology initiatives that support high-quality care and operational excellence.
As a member of the executive leadership team, Ganesh partners closely with clinicians and operational leaders to integrate technology into clinical workflows, improving patient outcomes and workforce experience. Prior to Cottage Health, he was Corporate Director of Digital Patient Experience and Applications at Emory Healthcare, where he led major digital initiatives, including the nation’s first Epic MyChart Bedside TV integration with Virtual Nursing.
Ganesh holds a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics from Nova Southeastern University and a BS in Health Information Management from Rutgers. He is a Fellow of HIMSS and a Certified Healthcare CIO and Digital Health Executive.
