Ethel Massing

Parkview Health

Ethel Massing, MSHI, SHIMSS, is the Innovation Program Leader for the Mirro Center for Research and Innovation at Parkview Health, where she’s passionate about empowering innovators to revolutionize healthcare. Her team oversees innovation and commercialization efforts within Parkview, manages startup company projects, operates production and 3D printing services, and runs a global Innovation competition series and accelerator program. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the HIMSS Indiana Chapter (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society).

Ethel earned undergraduate degrees from Manchester University, a master’s degree in health informatics from the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine, and a professional certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship from Stanford University. After spending 13 years in public education, she moved to Parkview Health, where she has worked for eleven years. She spent the first portion of her Parkview career in the Information Services Department, managing IT integration projects before moving to the Innovation team.
