Elizabeth Chung
Elizabeth is a second-year MBA candidate in Health Sector Management at Boston University. Prior to her MBA, Elizabeth dedicated a decade to her role as an Intensive Care RN in both Seattle and Boston. During this time, she held the position of charge nurse for a high-acuity ICU and took charge of various quality improvement projects, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing healthcare practices. Moreover, she took on the role of co-chair for the Sustainability Committee, collaborating closely with administration to minimize plastic medical waste in clinical spaces and operating rooms.
Driven by a desire to revolutionize healthcare, Elizabeth is now focused on leveraging technology within the private sector. She is interested in providing valuable insights into the patient and provider experience. Notably, she is currently the head of business for a biotech startup, a precision biomarker platform. This opportunity signifies the initial step in her lifelong journey within healthcare startups.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Elizabeth shares her life with her husband and labradoodle, Paddington, in Boston. Hailing from Seattle, she maintains a love for outdoor activities and has recently embraced sailing and windsurfing as new hobbies.
