David Rapp
David is a second-year MBA student at Harvard Business School. At Harvard, he focuses on healthcare, entrepreneurship, and investing, having worked closely with multiple early-stage investment funds in both Boston and New York. Before business school, David spent a year working at the Department of Health and Social Care in the United Kingdom where he oversaw part of the UK’s response to COVID-19. In this role, David helped scale the UK’s testing infrastructure, and he worked across government departments to facilitate pilot programs in new care settings, including prisons, care homes, and at schools, while also increasing the UK’s overall testing capacity and reducing void rates and turnaround times across the system. Before the Department of Health, David spent two years at McKinsey in London where he worked with senior executives across industries, including insurance, the public sector, and finance, to solve complex operational, strategic, and organizational challenges. David graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BSFS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2018, and he loves going on long walks in Cambridge with his wife, Ellie.
