Dan Tarpey

Dan Tarpey is a Senior Director with the Digital Solutions team at UPMC Enterprises, the innovation and commercialization arm of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  At UPMC, he focuses on sourcing and executing investments in digital health and healthcare technology companies, the launch of new businesses built upon UPMC advances, and portfolio management.

Dan joined UPMCE Enterprises from Evercore where he advised clients on M&A transactions, activist shareholder defense and corporate finance matters.  Dan began his career in the military as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Dan graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Economics and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
