Dakota is an Investment Analyst at Intermountain Ventures, the venture capital arm of Intermountain Health, where he leads the diligence process for investments in companies like Rula and Stepful. In addition to managing deal flow and pipeline responsibilities, he regularly collaborates with clinical and administrative teams across Intermountain Health and mentors the intern pool.
Before joining Intermountain Ventures, Dakota worked on the investment teams at Pelion Venture Partners and Peak Ventures. He also contributed to the Growth Team at Neighbor, a startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).
Originally from Alpine, UT, Dakota earned a BA in Information Systems and an MS in Finance from the University of Utah, where he was a student-athlete, playing defensive back for the football team. He now lives in Mapleton, UT, and enjoys anything active and outdoors.
