Claudia Polgar
Claudia Polgar is a current MBA/MPH dual degree student in Healthcare Management and a digital health startup founder. Claudia’s startup, CheckPoint Health, is a health management platform, which transfers data from family caregivers into insights for physicians to reduce errors and hospital readmissions. After graduating Columbia University with a major in Medicine, Literature and Society and a Psychology minor, Claudia incubated her startup at the Columbia Startup Lab for two years. During that time, CheckPoint Health was awarded Finalist of the Columbia University Venture Competition and Claudia was named the Athena Center for Leadership Entrepreneur Fellow. Claudia took part in several startup accelerators including Project 2.8, a female-founder focused accelerator, Westchester County Biosciences Accelerator, and the New York chapter of Startup Leadership Program. Prior to working on her startup, Claudia worked as a Life Sciences Consultant specializing in Patient Centricity.
Claudia was raised in New York City, born in Boston and holds three citizenships from the U.S., Hungary and Italy.
