Ben Tingey

Ben Tingey is an Innovation Manager with Advocate Health’s Innovation & Commercialization division. He supports industry partnerships and consumer strategy, leading business model innovation and consumer research initiatives for the enterprise. His impact focus areas have included primary and on-demand care strategy, community partnerships to address drivers of health, innovation leadership coaching, and culturally-competent care.

Ben joined Advocate Health as an Administrative Fellow. He then transitioned to Advocate’s corporate strategy and planning team before joining the Innovation & Commercialization division. Prior to his Administrative Fellowship, Ben worked at Privia Health, Capitol Counsel, and as a Spanish teacher at the Missionary Training Center. For six years, Ben hosted the A Sherpa’s Guide to Innovation podcast, interviewing innovators and academics on applied innovation theory.

He received a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and a Master of Health Administration degree from George Washington University. Ben’s better half, Jackie, is a mental health therapist and together they have five children—all boys.
