Amanda DiTrolio

Vice President of Marketing and Platform

Amanda DiTrolio is the Vice President of Marketing and Platform at Flare Capital Partners, where she leads the firm’s marketing strategy and oversees platform initiatives that support firm and portfolio company growth, ecosystem development, and value creation.

She is responsible for the firm’s brand, communications, content, events, and supports strategic industry partnerships, advisory boards, and executive councils that connect founders and operators across the healthcare technology ecosystem.

Amanda began her career as a research analyst at CB Insights where she produced data-driven analysis and research on digital health industry trends, as well as led startup scouting, market research, and competitive intelligence projects for healthcare payer, provider, and pharma clients. Her research has been featured across various publications, such as The New York Times, The Economist, STAT, Healthcare Dive, among others.

Amanda went on to be a founding team member (Employee #1) of Health Tech Nerds, a community of ~6,000 healthcare innovators, including startup founders, investors, corporate executives, and clinicians. During her time at HTN, she served as Growth & Operations Lead, driving research & content strategy, business operations, and growth initiatives. She also co-authored ‘HTN Weekly Health Tech Reads’, an industry leading healthcare newsletter read by 22,000+ subscribers.

Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from New York University.

Outside of the Flare Capital office, Amanda enjoys pilates, running, and cooking up new recipes. When she’s not reading about the latest healthcare trends, you’ll probably catch her heads down in a book on US foreign policy or international relations. Amanda also loves to travel internationally, having lived briefly in Sydney and London, and explored various regions across Northern and Southern Italy, just to name a few.
