Democratizing access to high value digestive care that’s proven to improve outcomes and significantly reduce healthcare costs. Oshi’s virtual-first care model provides diagnosis and multidisciplinary care for all GI conditions, empowering people to gain lasting control of their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
Annually, about 10% of hospitalizations and 15% of in-patient hospital procedures are attributed to the treatment of digestive diseases. Despite the high cost and high prevalence rate, access to high-quality gastrointestinal (GI) care is still a challenge for more than 70 million people in the US and driving more than $135 billion in annual healthcare costs. In a prospective clinical trial conducted in partnership with a national health plan, Oshi Health’s virtual multidisciplinary GI care model demonstrated statistically significant reductions in healthcare costs after six months, compared to propensity-matched controls. We are excited to support Oshi Health in its quest to democratize its groundbreaking, life-changing GI care.

We are proving our ability to drive meaningful improvements in patient outcomes, satisfaction, and quality of life - while also leading to a significant reduction in avoidable healthcare cost. Patients are unnecessarily suffering due to the small incremental improvements in care delivery that we have seen over the past few decades. We have an opportunity to broaden what has traditionally been considered standard GI care and radically transform subspeciality care for both patients and physicians.
