Kayla is a student at the Tuck School of Business with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and an MS in Engineering Management. Prior to business school, she spent six years working in the medical device industry at Stryker and NuVasive as an engineer, project manager, and product owner. At Stryker, she participated in a leadership development program that exposed her to the engineering, quality, and operations aspects of launching hip and knee prosthetics. At NuVasive, she managed the launch of several hardware and software releases for minimally invasive spine applications from initiation through commercialization launch. Throughout her roles, she has found success in creating new processes to improve operational efficiency and streamline communication between cross-functional teams. Upon graduation, Kayla is eager to join a start-up dedicated to leveraging innovation in medical devices and data-driven solutions to advance care for women and close the gender gap in healthcare.
Kayla is from Augusta, GA, and hopes to move to Colorado after graduation. She loves to spend time in the mountains – hiking, skiing, running, or biking with her husband and two dogs.
