Sham Firdausi is the Chief Financial Officer at Watertown Regional Medical Center – ScionHealth, with over 14 years of financial leadership in multi-hospital health systems, health plans, and startups. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and Army, Sham’s disciplined, mission-driven approach fuels his passion for advancing healthcare equity and innovation.
As a Senior Advisor for Lightbox Health, an AI-enabled provider enablement software company, and an advisor with Yale Ventures, Sham supports early-stage startups in scaling operations, securing funding, and driving impactful innovation. He also serves on the board of a behavioral health nonprofit, contributing to improved access for underserved communities.
Sham holds an MBA from DePaul University, an MSc from Brown University, and is completing an Executive MPH at Yale University. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, pets, and initiatives that empower marginalized and rural communities.
